Just pulled my engine out to freshen up the engine. In less than 10,000 miles after the m5r2 swap the firewall has 2 cracks in it one on each side of the trans tunnel drivers side is the worst about 3'' long and y shaped. I know to drill them at the ends and weld up but is there anything I can do to prevent them from coming back. like a doubler or something. I'd hate to strip the entire car down to fix this. that be way too much work for me at this point. any ideas on the best way to repair so I don't have to do this again later.
