A/C quit on my '99 F250.
Symptoms: Blows hot air, Couldn't tell if the clutch engaged/disengaged (by sound), gauge hooked to LP port showed 100psi.

Don't have a background in automotive A/C. Way out of my element.
My service manual is on CDROM but my computer won't run it.
Need some help.

First thing you need to do is unplug the LP cycling switch on the accumulator. Jump the two pins in the connector together and make sure the clutch engages the compressor(Vehicle running/AC on). Then check and see if it is getting cold inside.....Do that and report back....

You should be able to see the clutch stopped or spinning. Your compressor must not be running to have the low pressure side at 100psi. Do as frdlvr30 and pull the plug on the low pressure switch, jump the the two connectors with a paper clip and see if the compressor kicks on.
