Has anyone come across engineer notes about this engine? Like what they would like to have done, but couldn't for either cost or time reasons. With the 5.4SC in the GT500, the engineers said they would have like to have piston oil squirters like the 5.7 and 6.1 Hemi had...just an example.
I ask, because I just locked up ANOTHER 3.8SC on my way to work. Both were not reman, they were factory with a lot of miles. Ive never been stranded by any other engine. Both engines had perfect oil pressure when I checked with a gauge. Both cars had new radiators and working fans as well as good coolant with low voltage.
If I put another engine in this car, it isn't going to be used, how do I know it won't do the same again?
I will be building one when I have time, so is there anything that will help these live longer?
