ARP head stud kit, Morana vs. Jegs??

Is there a difference between the head stud kit (ARP) from Morana and the one from Jegs (ARP as well)? Morana is like $230 or so where the one from Jegs is only $79.00. I read that there is no offering by ARP for the 3.8, so we use the kit for the 2.8L Chevy V6 engine. As far as this kit goes, is there anything special that needs to be done to make it work or is it purely a bolt it, drop the HG and heads on and off there you go?!?!?
 
ARP does make a set of head studs for our 3.8s

They are a little bit longer than the Chevys, so you will have to bottom tap all the holes in the block....

That being said, the Checvy studs are cheaper than the Fords.....:rolleyes:
 
I have the actual SC studs for my turbo car and the overall length of the short studs are longer. Chasing the threads doesn't make it any shorter.

I had to grind the bottom of the exhaust manifolds to get them on. Even the turbo headers needed clearanced.
