Let me guess, NOT a regular Ford SC mechanic said that to you!?

These cars blow head gaskets, more than likely NOTHING wrong but just a head gasket.

Fel-Pro headgasket set and a set of ARP Studs... all better!!!
 
something to look into .. my 5.o blew the head gaskets there was night tell tail sign at all.. put some block seal in it & sold it 2 years later .. drove the hell out of it in the meantime

If you do anything, replace the headgaskets. DO NOT put a cooling system sealant into this motor..
