View Full Version : Cobra R Hood

Hello all. I am working with a vendor to produce a Cobra R line of hoods for our vehicles. For personal reasons, focus is going to initially be on the 94-95 years. I am curious about the 96-97 hood. It will fit dimensionally on a 94-95 correct? I know it would look a bit strange around the inside corners of the lights, but it should fit correct and just need to be trimmed to look right on a 95, right? My purpose for asking is that we would want to maximize the market. Offering a hood for a 94-97 car makes more sense and would appeal to more buyers. The line would range from a straight Cobra R type hood to ones that have heat extractors or louvers. If anyone has a 96-97 hood on a 95 with 95 lights, please send me a picture. We will try to get them into prototype and production within the next month or so. Based on sales and demand similar hoods for earlier years will be considered.

I'd be very interested in a 96-97 style for the 96-97 headlights

Would this be an example of a 97 hood on a 95? Looks about right...

Personally I like the 96-97 style headlights and the 96-97 hood look on mine, the factory 96-97 hood fits perfectly on the 94-95 also with the right headlights and header panel.. See my link on my 96-97 hood from Fiber Concepts, Corbra R cowl with modified ram air.. And it's already being made, no waiting..
