89 aod takeing a crap

my supercoupes trans started slipping really bad yesterday i know its gotta come out but whats the best way to replace it rebuild my own or find a replacement your advice is greatly appreciated

That will depend on your skill set and mechanical ability, I think.

Oh, and on the money you have available.

Given enough cash, you won't go wrong with a dirtyd0g tranny.

One thing to consider is the possibility of upgrading the tranny to a newer one,

ive got basic mechanic abailty but my dads a mechanic and so are a couple of my friends so thats no issue and ive got some cash but looking to spend as little as i can but ill pay for the right fix

I say get yourself a good quality rebuild kit, do any updates you can (research this), and by a TransGo Shift kit.
