I'm going to go down to DTP on Tuesday morning and do 2-3 pulls to check everything out. I'm curious as to what the numbers are running race gas and the nitrous on the motor tune instead of the nitrous tune. When DD tuned it a few months ago it put down 400rwhp on the 18 degree nitrous tune on 93 octane pump gas. At the Pinks event in June I ran it on the 22 degree motor tune with 100 octane plus 2 gallons of 110. It ran pretty good in horrible conditions and AFR read good on the LC-1 gauge. What's 4 degrees of timing worth in HP numbers, 20-25 HP? Anyways I know it's just a number plus it's on a different dyno than the one it was tuned on but I'll feel safe knowing how it runs with this set up.

Don't laugh...... a couple of years ago a last minute pretty much untested and untuned for magic bottle showed up in someone's trunk. Although it didn't make the extra horsepower that was expected it did make 500+rwt which was enough to take home that trophy.

Yeah running out of FUEL is beotch. I got to get mine working otherwise Keith will be taking home some bottle trophies. I asked a few people if it was fair and I even felt it might not have been. But I was told it counts so there. You got HP that year dont be greedy. LOL

Hey you never heard me complain. Well, okay but no more then usual anyway whenever someone uses the bottle lol

I thought it worked out fine for you. We were all just concerned that you were risking a whole lot of engine for a silly little plaque.

One last hi-jack.
I did not run the nitrous for the competition and it was not my intention, I was dynotuning all morning and I just happen to use the tuning numbers, since it was a moot to dyno the car again for the competition. Hey I was encouraged to submit it. Still nitrous and the M112 would have been a sick set up if it had enough fuel to do a full run.

Keith you should have the M90 class on lockdown, just dont blow it up on the dyno you still got to race the next day.

Thats impressive you might just take the M90 award even without the nitrous. Good job doing that in an automatic.

Keith,

That's exactly what I made with an MPIII. With it and a 100 HP shot mine ran 11.7-11.6 depending on the weather. Sounds like you are going to be very close to that 11.50 index.

I think an 11.6 will be in the mix. Did you ever dyno it with that set up, with the juice?

Yeah...I dynoed that combo several times, it made right around 100 more at wheels on a dynojet (about 460).
