Cooling system pressurization

My engine was done a few years ago (20K miles) and now I'm experiencing a very small compression leak from cyl 3 into the water jacket. My rebuilder used copper head gaskets, O ringed the block and cut receiver grooves in the heads and used ARP studs. The engine runs great but on trips over 20 miles the coolant reservoir gets really hot and blows coolant out on hot days.
I'm wondering if I could just retorque the head or will I need to pull it and replace the gasket. My compression in that cylinder is around 10 pounds lower than the rest but as I said it still runs like a champ. I've tried Steel Seal and that helped a little. George AKA The SonySC@hotmail.com

There was a thread in the new parts forum about copper head gaskets. I believe that the biggest down fall was that retorqing was going to be necessary. I don't know if retorqing the head will solve your problem but it would be worth a shot since you will probably have a hard time finding the same style headgasket for replacement.
