We are making plans for the move, but need to get my relocation information settled out first. If anyone knows of a nice place out in the country within 30 miles of Des Moines let me know.

Have 5 vehicles to keep garaged, so that tends to be a challenge. ;)

I'm in Altoona but I don't know of any Acreages for sale. FYI they seem to run expensive in the North, West and East of the metro. You might want to consider South. Such as Indianola or Carlisle.

I live in Milo (10 min shouth of Indianola) and I know there is a place for sale just north of town. I'm at work and cant pull up any listings tho. Good luck with the move!

Will be looking into it. In Des Moines now for training and looks like Friday will be free for me, so going to be doing some looking around. Have to wait for the relocation people to get a hold of me, before I can talk to a realitor.

I believe Iowa Realty actually has most homes on their website even if they are through another real estate company.
