on the real tho the air ride has.. failed
im going air 2 conventional (and the lower ball joints in front)
just got the kit today
wonderin if any of youz would like to come and bust ur knuckles on this one?
and if N-E one might have things like "but not limited "
spring compressor?
I am back living at my old house now

Be careful what spring compressor you use on these cars, I have a branick sold by snap on that I bought on ebay. As far as I know they are the best, I know a guy who got his head smashed in by one of these springs using a lesser compressor. I would hate to see that happen to anyone so be careful.

+1. It's better to drop off the shocks and springs for the front and have a shop do it. The back? Could probably do that without a compressor even.

The rear can be done without a spring compressor.

I used a floor jack to support the lower control arm, unbolted the shock & the sway bar end link.
I then took the top outer bolt out of the upper control arm /spindle and lowered the jack.
Then I removed the old spring and installed the new one. I used the jack to raise the assembly back into place and bolted everything back together.
