help me find a motor

Hello all i have been coming to this forum for along time mainly reading and checking out everyones rides.i have a 95 sc auto and my motor started having a lower end knock ,and my warrenty company agreed to put a motor in it and they only want to put so much money into the engine replacement so there talking about getting a used engine due to how much a new one costs.so does anyone have any ideas where to look for a used motor any where around northern cali i live in fairfield but will go anywhere around the bay area or sacramento maybe even further or does anyone know where to locate a new motor thats not set you .back 5 grand. thanks ahead of time for any info

I picked up a mint 3.8 SC from the junkyard here, out of a totalled '89, for $300. Call around, if I didn't have plans for it, I'd sell it to ya.
