Hey guys--a new guy here.
I've had a 95 SC for about 4 years now and have noticed that the bushings are gone from the rear end links. I did a search on replacing them and everyone says that they can be done with the wheels under load (either on the ground or on ramps). When I try to move 'em with my hand, it seems like a lot of tension on them. If I put the jack under the control arm and raise it a couple of inches, it seems to take the tension off some. The bolt is more centered in the eye of the link. Which way is the best? I don't want to break/bend the link and want to be safe.
Thanks for any help.
