Tried smoke machine to find vacuum leaks...

I hooked it up today after the engine had been thoroughly warmed up. I zip-tied both the bypass valve and the throttle body open to allow the smoke to fill the system and after several cycles with the smoke machine, you know what I found? Nothing! Not a single leak anywhere! So, I am back to square one on a slight miss at idle. Plugs? I did you Autolite copper plugs @ .040 gap. I am thinking I should switch back to the Autolite DP's. I already have Taylor wires, relatively new so I don't think they are the problem.

Any other suggestions? No codes either.. Should I eliminate the EGR?
