My new '93 Twilight Blue/Gray Tweed SC!

Just brought it home to the garage Friday 11/29/10.
Bought from the second owner, who had it for almost 14 years.
He bought it from the original owner who was a friend of his.
Never been driven in Snow or Salt, & not much in the rain.
60,011 original miles.
Except for the Pioneer tuner/CD changer & Borla catback, it's
100% factory original.
Thanks!

wow, i see you traded that pearl 94 for something nice :D. Very good find my friend, looks beautiful. I was wondering if after selling that nice 94 you were going to get out of teh SC scene...glad to see you're sticking around!

That will be fixed in January!

And the license plate since it's a 93 :D

Car looks great! I'm jealous - I'd like to have a 93 5spd.

Transfering the tags off the '94 for now.
They expire in January, so it will be fixed then!

Make sure you bring it the shootout next year so we can check it out!

did you get it from Indiana, I saw one that color on an interstate here over the summer and it was in good shape.

Just one last thing...it's so clean on the inside the dirty seat belts stick out...i have washed them before in a soap bucket and it worked pretty good.

yeah!

Could be anything I suppose but from the picture it looks different.

That's because it IS different! The prior owner had a set of plain blue carpeted mats OVER the gray T-Bird logo mats! I pulled the driver's side blue mat out before taking the pictures, but left the passenger's side in.
Good catch 90coug!!

Why the switch? Tweed seats? Lower mileage? Completely stock? Never been farted in and you farted all the time in the 94?

I guess I was just tired of continually putting more money into the '94 & it still was never going to be anywhere near car show quality.:( I've actually had my eye on this '93 for 2-3 years, but never had the funds to purchase until now!!:D

If you wouldn't mind, could you PM me the price you paid, as I'm in the process of buying a 44k 89' 5 speed and would like to see if the price I'm paying is at least in the ball park.

Thanks in advance.

Tommy

New plates ordered!

Thanks!!
The plate issue has already been addressed in post #9!!
That means I have another month to figure out what the
new plate will be.:D

Just ordered my new plates online!
Should be here in a week or two.
Probably a lot longer than that before I get
a break in our CRAPPY-AZZ winter weather
so I can take the cover off the SC in the
garage & INSTALL them! Seems like we've
only had a handful of days with temps above
freezing since the first week of DECEMBER.
Minus 1* this morning.
I'm sure looking forward to retirement in 9-10 years,
so I can move to Florida or Arizona.
I'll take a picture of the new plate when installed.
Jeff
