anybody know what the single wire connector on the cps is and where it goes from end to end.

It plugs into a 1-wire connector right beside the other connector. To the right of the ignition module, to the left of the blower snout.

how bout the end near the sensor there are 4 wires going into it and then the unsheilded 1 wire where does it go not at the connector end but at the sensor end mine is just sticking out

I have no sensor on me to double check, but it does to one of the holes that bolt the CPS to the bracket. One if not both? should have a metal ring/sleeve, and if you take a Ohm meter and measure that one single wire connector and those rings/sleeves there should be continuity.

Also that's just a shielding ground, not the actually ground for the ignition system or parts of it. :)
