I believe he knows how to race, but can he?

It has been said that Dave Dalke has never driven a car WOT that hasnt been strapped down and stationary, and that he only knows how to operate a vehicle while staring out the drivers side window, or at the passenger seat.

Seems the only time I saw a Supercoupe with a Turbo do anything, it was strapped down and stationary.

I bet if you borrowed casey's engine, tweaked the converter accordingly, youd be well into the 9s

Your just so easy a target for us old farts to shoot out. Now if you were a little faster, like in the 11 second range:rolleyes: you might be a harder target to hit:D

I don't guess you were around for the 2004 Shootout at Norwalk where Kurt K and Dave raced each other (auto vs. 5 speed) and they ran identical ETs.

I don't know whether to be more insulted that Corey is making fun of me, or that you had to remind me of that (yes I'm going to say it) EPIC FAIL that occurred at the 04 Shootout. :(

DavidNot quite identical:

Driving School did help a lot, but at the end of the race season after my first competition red light ever, the class instructor told me "You just keep inventing new ways to lose".

I've actually got a lot of experince at failing, and have a whole shelf full of Runner-Up trophies and plaques to prove it. But every once in a while I get the Winner's trophy, and that's good enough for me.

Mr. Dalke, I keep seeing hints of grabber blue hiding in pics of ludorfs build. Comeon, has to be some updates, no? Time flys once the good weather comes, want me to come turn some wrenches on it?

Call me crazy, and I was out of the loop for a few years awhile back, but I was told that Dalke bought Mark Strand's (68COUGAR) car. Whatever happened to that thing? It was better than 14s... :p

I don't know about that. He and that car were last seen street racing some highschool girls in a Honda Accord in the St. Louis area - and from my perspective, he was narrowly winning. He later rubbed a dub at Arby's.

He wouldn't want you anywhere near his car.... you don't know the difference between a turslow and a supercharger, and when to use a tie wrap or duct tape :p.
