I have a 90 SC auto with low miles that i lost the title to:((Not in my name and from another state) and i cant get another title so i was thinking about putting the motor/auto trany into my 89 notch Mustang. The mustang is originally a 4-cyl auto car. Anybody else on here done this swap? Just wondering what kind of problems i should look out for. Any info would be greatly appreciated.:D

never done the swap but

motor mounts may work, you'll have to see, the fox tbirds use the same mounts as the sc so the pony may as well

exhaust wont

snatch the ecu and harness out the sc, its as simple as unbolting the 10mm bolt removing the ecu and pushing the ecu connector through the firewall
you'll probably need the ecu pin out to wire up the ignition sw and pwr

and thats it, shouldn't be hard to do at all

don't forget to ground the ecu pin for the neutral switch

i'd recommend you ditch the half radiator and use an full size radiator, the stock fox rad is fine, that way you can run a full size intercooler and turn the boost up

Lots of guys have done the swap. Most of the ones I have seen were on the 94 and newer cars. Check out v6power.net and poke around there. You will get more replies.
