Do I really have 3 Cats?

So I was looking at my exhaust, I have a Cat on each bank, then after that It looks like a big ~~~ 3rd cat, then a Resonater? or maybe the Resonater then a Cat? what is that thing pictured in this pic?

Yep, that's the third cat. The factory exhaust on my five speed had the third cat but the factory exhaust on my automatic only had the two on the down tubes.:confused:
 
So thats a cat not a Factory Y Pipe for the 2 into 1? I wonder if the exhaust shop will chop that out.

Yup as we have said that IS a 3rd Cat.
As for if the shop will cut it out... NOT SUPPOSED TO!
But you never know, seeing how you still have the other 2 they MIGHT be willing to do it.
 
and if you hack them off :eek: and show the receipt for the new high flow converters you bought, you get $70 for each converter. :D
