Do the 92's have only one trunk light.....

When I open the trunk at night, I only have a light on the DS.....

I need a flash light to find anything that is on the PS of the trunk....:p

The 92 I've recently been stripping parts off of at a local boneyard only has one.

My 1991 only has one.

My 1991 will have TWO before much longer. That, or a long ring of very, VERY bright white LEDs across the trunk (which may be better, IMO.)

Thanks....

Looks like I'll have to add an additional one to the PS...

All my other SCs are 89 - 90 models....:p

The more I think about, the more I think that a ring of LEDs, say a pair of the 30" white strips, around the opening (inside the trunk) wired downstream of the switch may be a better idea. You'll not see the white lights themselves, but it'd be REALLY easy to see what's in the trunk with the lid open.

To avoid more rewiring, a small pin switch (such as a door jamb switch for the overhead light) in the trunk, inside the weatherstriping, may be a better idea.

I'm just tossing ideas out on what we can do today to make it better than the original design.

Yah, there's not enough light in there as it is now.

I'm also thinking about ways to get more light out the back in reverse, although when I replace the rear window (and get that it's-at-the-legal-limit tint off!) that'll help some.
