Jason called me today and because his will not be ready to be worked on...
Attention is being turned to my TBird.

This saturday the 26th at my place in Junction City, KS.

LOT'S of things to do...
ANY help is appreciated and is better than nothing or me doing it by myself.

here's a list of things I have available to be done...

1. remote gas door
2. door hinge pins and rollers
3. all 4 stereo speakers
4. new stereo head unit
5. CB install
6. Canadian model seatbelt swap(including interior pieces)
7. Passenger seat full power mount install on current seat
8. rear fascia replacement
9. AOD Shift kit
10. B&M Torque converter
11. Black side mirrors to mount
12. Complete motor removal, (prep it for the new motor from the machine shop)
13. Rebuild the tensioners
14. plenty of port/polish/gasket match work to be done too.

I'll probably come across other stuff I have collected over the past 2 years!

as for all the motor stuff... that has to wait until I get the block back.

I'll be mocking up the new downtubes this week to check fit so the company can make any more adjustments before offering them to the masses.

Like I said, ANYTHING that gets done is a step closer to being done.
The earlier we start the better as I have to close the doors at 5pm in order to shower and get out the door for the K-State Women's Basket Ball game at 7.

PM me for directions and phone number.
Non alcoholic beverages and food provided, you want alcohol...BYOB. Just plan accordingly in order to NOT Drink and Drive

You're confusing him with SWS.

Which shift kit are you going with?

And where are you putting the CB at?

The Art Carr kit I bought from Conan..

As for the CB, I bought a small front speaker unit to put in the lower hole in the dash, the little pocket.
I had one in there on my other 90SC years ago.
It fits well in that hole with 2 issues...
1. make sure it is a short depth, the large size LTD25 type ones are too long
2. if you don't use a front peaker you have to mount an external speaker

I'll be interested to see a picture or two of the installation after it's in. I had a CB in my 91 a loooong time ago, but never really liked the installation of it so it didn't stay long.

Wish I had a digital camera back then. It looked good at the time.
I had a small external speaker that mounted on the dash in order to hear it.
Also had a 1000w power booster, a PA speaker, and one of those stupid musical horns lol! NO I will not be putting the PA and horn on this car!

I take that as a compliment.

Gasket matching is a no-no. You do more harm than good. You lose velocity and any resonance you may have built up in exchange for more volume where you don't need it and turbulence.

Today turned out to be a bust even for me!
Not doing any motor work yet, so I went to do the radio install.
3-4 trips around town to get parts I needed (POOR PLANNING)
get the radio all soldered up, and plug it in... NO SOUND!
it was a radio from my sons 90 TBird, turned out the wiring adapters for the LX were DIFFERENT than the JBL system in the SC. Had to find different adapter.
So now I have to put a new installation wiring adapter set on the NEW Pioneer deck I had set aside for the Torino.
Anyway, no progress, nothing done, I HATE COLD WEATHER!
It just takes all the drive out of me!

I am doing the soldering on the radio this morning.
Then headed out to the garage to work on installing the radio and CB.
Have to replace a light bulb or 2 in the heater control while I am in there.
MIGHT get into the doors to replace the speakers.
OR I could get wrapped up in fitting the downtubes so I can drive it.

blkbrd I sent you a PM
