View Full Version : Stock Pushrod Length?

What exactly is the stock pushrod length for a 94 SC? I've read several threads and everyone that I've read gives a different measurement. Also... I have a rebuilt motor built by Rhino Motors, I was wondering if they used the original push rod length in their rebuilds?

While I'm not 100% I think it's

7.136 "

from this page:

you can look up the specs. Factory specs are 150.17 to 150.24 Millimeters long. That equates to 5.9122 to 5.9138 inches.

He's talking about pushrod specs...;) 7.136 is correct. I have no idea who Rhino engines is or what they use, but I expect they should be stock unless they changed them for some reason.

Thanks for the responses. I don't have a caliper that large or I would have measured them myself. I figured they were somewhere around that length. The company that I bought the rebuilt motor from definately used push rods longer than the ones I took out of my original motor. I think maybe the cam was reground or something. I swapped I'm my comp cams stage 1 cam and 1.73 roller rockers (as Dave already knows) and I think the push rods are too long and are causing the valvetrain noise I'm hearing.
