i got my rear end out last night. it was actualy really easy, but the driver side vss bolt would not come off for nothing so i had to cut it. theres still one on the passengerside, so will it be okay to drive for awhile till i get another one orederd and will the speedo still work? also the tract. cont. never worked since ive had the car so im not worried about that.

The VSS isn't on the diff. I think you mean "ABS sensor".

And yes, it's drivable, but ABS will be non-functional.

Since you have the Teves Mk IV ABS ("Trac Control" tells me that - it wasn't available on the Teves Mk II in the Gen1 MN12s) the brakes will operate fine, you just don't have either ABS or traction control (TC was a fall out of ABS, BTW.)
