Is it me or do the front fender liners shrink? I swear they fit before and I'll be a monkeys uncle if they don't fit correctly anymore.

Anyone have a fender liner stretcher? Its like a wood stretcher but not!

It has been my experience that they in fact do shrink.

I assume they are the same 89-97, so I am going to start frolicking in the u-pull-it yards and see if I can find some from a 97 that may fit better

I'm with you on that.. I think they do shrink

The plastic clips seem to have too much slop to keep the liners secured. What I've had to do to get them in place and then to STAY in place is to loosen all the plastic fasteners, place the liner in place where its tight and snug and completely over the ridge of the fender, reinsert the fasteners and then drill 2-3 holes and insert additional sheet metal screws to hold it in place. Haven't had any problems in years now.. or maybe they stopped shrinking.. :D

I think you may still be able to get aftermarket fender liners, just in case you want to go that route.
