No Spark / No Start

I am trying to get my SC up and running this spring after having to put it away early last fall. It was running like a top until it died without warning at a stop light.

It will not even chug a little to get going, it just cranks and cranks and won't turn over. My dad and I just checked for spark at the ignition coil and did not see it getting any spark.

Do you guys have any advice for checking whether the ignition coil is bad or the DIS is bad? Anything else you can think of that would be keeping me from getting spark.

Thanks.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I wasn't sure if the upshift light would stay on while cranking normally, but it looked on the forums like it shouldn't. So looks like I need to replace crankshaft sensor. How fun :)

Sorry, meant was not was I was thinking...

Does anyone have a diagram for the sensor location. I read the guide on the site, but I like working with pictures. Couldn't find any with a search.

location

It is at about 10 o'clock at the edge of the harmonic balancer when looking at the front of the engine.

Best to go from underneath. 2 bolts hold it on. Bolt heads are 7/32(5.5mm).

Got mine from autozone. Working fine.

Search "crank sensor" and you will find all the info you need.
