Congrats on the new best ET. About what would that equate to for the 1/4 mile ?

After looking at several timeslips from the fastest SC list, looks like it would run closer to 13.2 in the 1/4. What kind of 60ft times were you getting ?

8.41 x 1.54 = 12.95 (which is a good guesstimate of 1/4 time from 1/8 time) but get to the 1/4 thats the only way you'll know for sure.;)

I think you might need more MPH with that time in the 1/8th to break into the 12's. That or careful timing with the NO2 injection to cool down the intake charge and keep the car from nosing over as you near the end of the 1/4 run.

these cars are really fun in the 1/8th though. The torque and power band lend them well to some easy wins off cars that typically won't pull on you until just past the 1/8th mile mark. Congrats.

hey dave, just for future ref, you typically gain 156.5% in the last 1/8

so 8.41 x 1.565 = ~13.16

Looking at your 60' times I predict:
Your 60' time will improve alot with the auto trans. With that swap alone you should get into the 12's.

2 tenths at the front end should net 3-4 tenths at the big end.

I think his 1/8 mile is only goot for 13.20's. IF he can get his 60ft down to the 1.80 range he should get to 13.0 or 13.10. I think something is wrong with your tune if you've got ported heads, a late model blower at 13psi, and a 75 shot of nitrous.. that should get a mustang down to the 12.50's.

Sooo, since I had a 2.3 60ft at the shootout which is trash and a 12.4 1/4 since I lifted at the 1k' mark. If I can do a 1.7, which is still crappy compared to you high hp auto guys, I should be running 11.20s easily while lifting early. Good thing Im getting new slicks before the shootout, and a shiny big red box to help put the power to the ground at the launch.

With 505 rwhp you SHOULD be in the 10's anyway Corey. Except for that freak 483 rwhp dyno run I had at the Shootout, I'm running 11.1's with 1.5 60' with 450 rwhp. Chris V. is running 10.7's with 440 rwhp.........go figure...........
