Does any one know what the amp rating is on that fuse link?
I know the wiring is 16ga. So it should be around 10amps??
Thanks!

Yes and no.

First KEEP the fusible link. It deals with the inrush better than a fuse.

The actually Current Capacity of the 16AWG wire is about 30A (roughly 3x rating). This is why should not use a fuse in place of link, you have to put such high a fuse in that its nearly pointless.

If the wiring on the circuit is 16 then the link is either 18 or 20.

I got mine at either Advance or Autozone when my Fan blew it and yes it is 16g.

If you put it back in the factory location I would suggest a torch to heat the main cable.

Make sure though you have fixed the problem first though. Replacing links are no fun.

I already fixed the cause of the blowing fuse link, rad fan motor burned up.
Autozone
Advance
Pepboys
Had no fuse links.
Just build your own!
