Title says it all. A 1 stop place for possible remedies

We have made attempts to do something like that in the FAQ forum. Problem is that we have trouble getting people to write them up. If you had another forum, people would just start posting their questions on the answers and it would become like any other forum.

If you have some solved problems you would like to post, put them in the FAQ and they show up once they are approved.

mmathews - I've seen other sites that have done something similar - maybe this would work here?

Basically, they have a thread that just lists issues and has links to other threads where people resolved issues. It's not a FAQ write-up, but if someone has an issue and is will to read through the thread that is hyperlinked, it will give them a solution. What do we think of something like this?

The only work involved is having people submit links and issues resolved to the thread, then a moderator or someone else comes along and keeps the thread neat and clean as links are added over time.

Now give me your thoughts on this thread being in a members only forum as a GREAT feature of being a member.
