lol...sorry about the title...A/C..off or high speed----------On my truck I just replaced the Fan Blower Motor Resistor...same on this or is it the blend door actuator that causes that?

Think about this.

The blower motor resistor (or blower motor speed controller for fully automatic climate controls) controls the non-high speeds, a relay kicks in for high.

The blend door actuator controls the hot/cold mix.

So - which is your problem with the car? Poor control of blower speed, or poor control of temperature? :D

I apparently have no control over the blower speed. If the system is on its high...heat and AC switch fine. It's just the speed of the blower..HIGH! Oh here's a video for the heck of it. I probably should've put ribbons on the vents so you could tell the air blowin....

It's called a "Blower Speed Control Module" - and it's hard to find nowadays.

There's an improved version that requires replacing the connector - also currently no longer available.

Looks like time to hit the boneyard to find one.

Don't toss the old one! I've got on my list of projects reverse-engineering one to make them fixable (I THINK the major problem is the pass transistor opening or shorting - but am not sure yet.)
