I am installing a 75mm tb and there is a lot of material on the plenum that needs to go away. After taking some measurements it doesnt look like too much on the tube can be removed so most will come off the mounting plate? Any one have any pics of theirs? Ok, porting is done now down to the cleanup and polish

You just port a taper in the first inch of the inlet plenum to allow for a smooth transition. You can't really do much with the stock plenum unless you cut and reweld it, because it necks down to about 68 MM at the bend and there isn't enough material to go bigger without breaking through the casting.

thanks.

That's kinda what I thought. Im just going to open up the mating flange to match theme blend where I can/or where material allows.

mine had a decent casting ridge and was rough in general. Smooth them out. Other than matching the tb, i couldnt find enough material to remove to open it up. You probly know this though.

TB done.

Port matched and polished.
