Bearing Sizes

On a completely stock short block, what size bearings would one buy for the rods and mains? Are they all standard size? Does it vary by engine? I thought I read on here a long time ago the mains were undersized, or something along those lines. Any help would be appreciated.
 
It isn't the block that matters it is the crank and rods that have to be measured, if all stock standard would be correct. Make sure to plasti-gauge them.

Alrighty thanks. So assuming my engine's never been split open before, I'd need one standard set of rod bearings, and then all but one of a set of mains in standard and one .010 oversized bearing>
 
If you are ordering a kit be careful you might end up with a main bearing that is .020 not .010.
