i can see daylight through cyl 1 exhaust valve seat?

lol i pulled the motor today to get the crap that broke from the timing chain failing out of the pan and cyl one didnt have compression and we pulled the head off and you could see where the valve hit the pistion one cyl one and 3

You might want to pull off the other head next .. probably a bent valve or two on that side as well.

i did and didnt see anything but dont really know what to check other than looking.

now the big question for everyone.. these heads have been ported (not by me) and have pretty good ports.. and i think this one head is trashed/needs more work than i can afford. i have a set of stock heads that have 0 miles since machine shop 2 yrs ago for a valve job and freshening up.

is it worth the money to try and get this one repaired?

Can you swap a good valve with a bent 1 to check to see if the seat and guide are good still? If they are, you could replace the valves that are bad and do a good lapping job.
