What would cause oil to get on the SC rotors and in the intercooler?

Almost have my 92 SC back on the road after an engine/tranny rebuild, but my supercharger needs attention. When I tore the motor down, I found quite a bit of oil down in the intercooler and on the rotors of the super charger. Any ideas on where it's coming from and how to stop it? I know that the coupler is bad, but I am wondering if there is a seal in it that goes bad?

I agree with Ddubb. It's just normal oil from the PCV system.
I've had a catch can for just over a year and only have about 1.75oz worth. So other issues may cause more oil.
