Speedo ?

So, pulled up to the stop light and clutch is in and just waiting and my speedo jumps all the way up to 120 and back and forth for a bit and my miles are going up, but I am just sitting there.

Time to replace the MLPS sensor?

thats odd I had my speedo go crazy in my mustang after the last build but it was a short behind the dash

miles didnt go up, but my odometer is shot

Huh. Not that bad, but the same thing happened to me.

Wouldn't be the MLPS sensor, but the VSS if it's down there.

Now, my car wouldn't set cruise when it was showing 70 MPH, so I don't think it's the VSS, but the speedometer drive itself.

I'm betting a ground getting flaky (hey, it's overdue me pulling out and reseating it a few times ANYWAY) myself, but I've been recommended to lube it with a light weight lube (I'm probably going to use the DuPont Teflon(tm) spray lube - I *HEART* that stuff for a light weight lube!)
