IRS track width

I have a 7.5" IRS setup from a v6 bird that I will putting into a locost type build and have a quick question regarding the track width of this setup. I assembled the half-shafts and differential and measure a flange to flange distance of about 63". Yet, I notice that the cv joints can be compressed easily in and out by hand, right now I am measuring with the cv joints relaxed on the floor.

So, Does anyone know the true flange to flange or trackwidth of a standard v6 t-bird rear end?

I have no other suspension components to go off of, and I am not sure if the cv joints need to be compressed slightly to operate properly. I thought I read somewhere the track width was around 61", but I cant find anything conclusive.

This picture below represents what I have (only I have the 7.5" version)
