Half Shaft Shield / Seal

Does anyone know a source for the shield that presses onto the outer halfshaft end. It serves as a seal/shield to the rear wheel bearing.

Ford shop manual identifies it as a "seal flange (Part of 4B436)"

It is pressed onto the tulip end that is threaded for the axle nut

Thanks

Paul

Wrong End

Jeepster,
You posted a link to Summit Racing for the inner bearings and axle seals.

I am looking for the outer ends. The seal is a metal flange with a rubber wiper along its outer diameter.

Replaceable

I think what you are talking about is part of the bearing itself.

The shop manual shows the procedure to press them on. The set of axles I have do not have them on them. The old set of axles does have them but they are 15 years old so I hesitate to try and re-use them.

There has to be a source somewhere. I just haven't been able to find it yet. If I can come up with the part number, it may make my Google searches more productive

? ? ?

Oh you are talking about the parts onthe axles themself. They are obsolete and not important ford did away with them in the later years, it rare to actually find a car with them anymore. I don't remember the last time I saw one on one of these cars.
