Well my last time out for the season was decent. Basically sea level all day.

Started out with my modded tune from Import vs Domestic(leaned out a little) and ran a 10.95 at 124.56 with a 1.57 60', DA about -12ft Weight 3835 with me.

Decided to put the richer tune back in which usually runs the best during previous track days and ran a 11.00 at 124.02 with 1.58 60' DA 9ft.

That didn't seem to work so I loaded the lean tune and decided to put the 375ml alky jet in too(was 625ml). Ran a 11.02 at 124.28 with a 1.60 60' DA 428ft. Seems to have been running better but the IAT got to 150 and timing was being pulled. I really wanted to run the smaller jet on a cold day so the IAT wouldn't get too high. The wide band pootered out so I don't know what happened with the AFR with the smaller alky shot.:(

Went back and put the 625ml jet back in and went to first round gamblers race with a 10.90 dial. Had good lights all day .077, .043, .061. Pulled up to a Firebird dialing a 9.78. My light comes down and goes RED:mad: How the F did I go red, must have staged too deep:confused: it was a -.020. It would have been REAL hard to beat him. He pulled a .009 light and ran a 9.788. I ran a 10.99 at 124.46 1.58 60' DA 323ft.

Here is a full pass from MIR from burnout to getting my ticket.

Thanks Guys.

Ira, atleast I was trying.;) I knew I had to cause the guys up there for the gamblers races are no joke. And they have delay boxes and all that other crap. They get 2 chances to cut a good light on us slower cars. You can see me cussin on the return road.

Chris Too ran first round and came back and asked me why he didn't win cause he was closer to his dial than the other guy. I told him you gave him .2 head start on the light:D. His guy cut a .020 light to his .240. I kept harpin on the kid to work on his .3 lights:eek:.

Great runs Chris. Damn, a .009 light! How the hell do you beat that?

Even if you hadn't gone red how the hell do you beat a 9.788 run on a 9.78 dial?

That guy had his sh-t together!

I know how you feel. I was cussing all the way down the return lane too when I was up against Driller and I red lighted after having such a good day.

Chris,

All in all it sounds like you had a good day at the track. BTW, It doesn't look like that Firebird is far enough ahead of you to have over a second lower ET.

Yeah they don't mess around up here.;) They don't come in early they just get here couple hours before the gambler race starts make a pass or two then destroy the occasional track guys.

I needed my .000 light from 3 weeks ago.
