I ran a 2nd best ever time today at VMP with an 11.19@120.83 mph, 60 ft. was 1.56. considering that I added a rollbar (weight) since running my personal best 11.15 last Dec. I'm satified to end the season with that.

I think the brand new starter I put on a couple of months ago was the problem, I think the solenoid is crap. Before I left for the strip it wouldn't start again. Installed the old starter and worked great. I was really hoping for a new best but it is what it is.

I was hoping you'd do better also with some more seat time but it really looks like you've maxed this combo out. I suggest before the coming blower upgrade that you invest in a much bigger IC. I think heat soak of the IC is probably really holding you back right now.

Dave,
Don't you think that spraying the nitrous before the act sensor that it would sense very cold air and not pull any timing? It also seems I've hit a wall a 120 mph, in my tune did you remove any speed limiters if there's any? My runs seems to level out, not gain any mph, the last few hundres feet of the run. That's what it feels like in the car anyways.

No, nitrous is not an adequate substitute for a proper intercooler. If you want to go fast you need a large intercooler. Since you primarily drag race the car I suggest either a large liquid/air intercooler with a reservoir tank or if you prefer simplicity, then a 4" x 12" x 24" core (31" overall length) cross flow bar and plate intercooler.

I'll look into a bigger air to air i/c but a liquid to air setup is more than I want to mess with. I do drive it on the street much more than I take it to the track but it isn't a daily driver for sure. I'll be picking your brain some more in the next few months on upgrades I plan on doing.

Nice job. The 120mph wall could be caused by converter slip on the big end. Have you run your #'s through a calculator to see how much it's sliping? What was your 1/8th mph?

Did you get any logs? Post all the numbers from the slip or a pic of the slip.
