I am building a 4.3 forged bottom s/c motor, and I wish to know what head gaskets I should use for a 10-12 psi motor. does Cometic make a set?
will the MLS felpro (f-150) stand up to the abuse

this has been discussed many times, the felpro mls are used by most members on this forum that replace headgaskets

the arp head studs are also recommended, the 11mm for the 2.8L v6 chevy are also known to work and are used frequently as they are a tad cheaper than the supercoupe arp head studs

The headgaskets you want are the Fel Pro MLS for the 96-98 Mustang. Thats pretty low boost if your going for an all out 4.3.

At 10-12 psi I want it to live longer on the street. Looking for about 300HP @ crank, maybe 250-275 @ whell with AOD/mild stall and alum. driveshaft. this isnt a track car, more of a business card that can be shown to promote my new gig. (car customizing and building)

Should last forever with that low of boost, my stocker shortblock still going strong running around with 18lbs.
