power distribution box dress panel feeler..

Hey guys, today I made a polished cover for my power distribution box, the whole engine is polished so i figured why go with a boring distribution box. I made it out of material I had laying around. it turns out it came out great. I was just tryin to get a gauge if anyone would be interested in any of these, Here are a couple pics of my cover.

It looks pretty sweet on the car, I can take some pics if anyone would like, I figure I would throw it out there, my feelings wont be hurt if its stupid..:D
 
Looks slick... has me dreaming of a hydroformed replacement. One thought would be counter sunk bolt rather than something sitting on the top, but that is my preference. I'd be tempted to coat the nuts underneath with some liquid electrical tape. Just in case some fuse blows crazy and that panel might become electrified.
 
the liquid tape I did do as a precaution, but I checked the clearance between the bottom of the screws and any fuses with clay, I got about a good inch, they are real shorty bolts. I used what i had laying around,I would ideally done a countersunk phillips,but everywhere was closed today, i think i might do that though,I would really like to engrave it, that would be cool. thanks for the input Mike
 
I threw it on my car today to take a few pics so you guys can see what it looks like. im gonna grab some countersunk bolts for it today, it will make it look so much better.
