I did some searching on the forum but couldnt seem to find my answer...

I think my Antilock light is on at start up longer than it used to be...does this mean my pump motor is going bad?

How long does it stay on? When I don't drive the car for a while mine stays on longer than usual. Other than that if I have driven the car that day it doesn't come on again

Check out what Chris said.....

How does the pump motor sound....

A good pump motor will hum along, bog down, then shut off.....

Most likely the accumulator is having trouble getting up to pressure....

The tell-tale sign of the accumulator about to go out is the red brake and amber ABS lights will flicker every time you apply the brake pedal....

The amber light is on for like 10 seconds longer than usual...

I changed my accumulator ball like 1k mi ago and that got rid of the no ABS and flickering lights...but just seems like amber light is on longer than usual

I will have to listen to pump...kinda hard with dual electric fans on FMIC

thanks for info...
