A few months ago I bought a beater 1990 SC. its got 310k on the odometer and the odometer hasnt worked since I got it.

The car works awesome when you first take it out, but it seems after it warms up or after some WOT stabs the tach will drop to zero and the car feels gutless when you come hard onto the throttle, but seems to work fine at cruising speed/slow acceleration. What could be causing this? Looking for someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance

If I had to make a bet on it I would say your DIS module. Some auto parts stores can test it I would call in advance to be sure they can.

always change the dis out with the cam and crank sensors, else the supercoupe gremlins will be upset and wreak havoc on your ignition

im being serious
