dash lights please help

my dash lights are not working the fuse keeps blowing and i also tried a larger fuse but still no go! what is the issue here any suggetions anyhting else i could check??? kind of a big deal i have a headband light wrapped around my steering wheel for night driving haha but not cool. thanks in advance for the help!

Light wiring is one of those SC problem issues.

Three spots to check.

Ignition switch, Notorious for failing causing all sorts of gremlins

MFS switch. another problematic point.

I would check all three.

is it a 5 speed? if so, the wire that passes by the shifter gets hammered by shifting if it's not in its proper place. under console. see short.

Another common place is the wires going to the radio. Do you have a aftermarket one?

had that happen. lighting wire for stock grounded on back of aftermarket radio kept blowing fuse. took 2 packs a fuses to find problem
