Crankshaft question

My machinist called and said the last two rear main journals are pretty rough. They want to cut .010/.010 rods and mains. My concern is that I believe I read somewhere that the rear main journal is already .010 under. That said is it ok to turn the rear main journal down another .010 netting out .020 under in total?
 
Thanks for the response man. I figured you would know. I hate maching anything below .010. I am still scratching my head on why Ford undersized all of our rear main journals by .010 from the factory. I mean a cast crank and steel crank are easy to tell apart as it is. Maybe they could have just painted the back side a differnt color? Too late now. LOL
