Lentech Automatics

Is anyone running a Lentech Automatic in thier T-Bird? I have been curious as to how to make second gear available manually for my AOD and have found this company out of Ontario, Canada.

They were referenced on the Mustang and Fords web site in the tech articles section.

Is there a US manufacture that performs the same services?

Some say they make Transmissions that are bullet proof and bad azz for road and strip.

Then another guy I knew said he sent his back 3 times.

All lentech does is use one of their famous valve bodies and a hardened input shaft along with a converter of your choice. Other than that it is just a very well rebuilt transmission. I use a street terminator valve body calibration 3 with a non locking converter and a hardened input shaft and this transmission will sit you in the seat. I have had no problems with my transmission. It rocks and the transmission with those mods cut 6 tenths off of my 1/4 mile E.T.

I have thier street treminator vavlebody, and man is it cool! The best mod I've done by far!

What is the difference between the valve body and the whole trans?

Can I get just a valve body and put it in my stock trans?
