Slotted Maf wiring

For those of you who have installed the slotted MAF, did you splice into the wiring for the existing MAF?

Yes or I believe there is an adapter harness. Zimm or cory posted a diagram previously some where.

Although that diagram is for the older plug to slot and you most likely have the 96-04 style plug. So check and make sure the lettering is the same for old pre 95 and post 95 plugs. I can't remember.

MAF connector...04 and older......05 and up

I have my air filter in the fender so I'm not pulling in hot air. but would like to see air temp on the intake side and then after the intercooler.

The transfer function is the same as the stock ACT, I use the slot maf one in my turbo stup, much better than the factory ACT

I know this is an old thread, but why have both a power and ground, and then a MAF Sensor and MAF Return. Power is a +12v, and MAF Sensor a +5v for heating and then for a logic signal?
