Ok I have a minor problemi'm trying to get around. I have 2 supercoupes with 60 lb injectors that are both tuned on the same 83 mm maf. I have a 85mm maf lying around. Is there a sample tube I can buy to work with the car that won't throw my fuel mixture off so i can at least drive the car, Or how does this work?

While my 89's getting painted I threw the stock maf on the car just so the guys could move it if they had to, like a fire! Turns out they are starting it more than I anticipated so I had to change plugs and put the 83 mm back on being the stock maf caused the car to run hog rich. Now the other car is down for the count.

I would suggest calling Bill at Supercoupeperformance. You'll need the sample tube for 60 pounders & he should have em in stock. Or you could e-mail Dalke & get your chip reburned for those injectors & run any MAF you want.

All i'm doing is wanting to switch from an 83 to an 85mm. When the sensor feels less air velocity with the bigger unit it will run lean I think. The tune already was done by Dave and the bigger maf will be the only new change.

I'd never heard of an 83mm either..but if you're only up'ing the MAF ID by 2mm, I would think the same sample tube would work if you're just wanting to move the car around in the garage.

If you wanted to change the MAF for permanent use (regardless of tube size combo's), the tune would have to be revised.
