Stalls at start up

I sealed all the tubes, engine was running rough but is running smooth now.

On the first turn of the key, the engine starts quickly but then stalls. On the second try it starts right up and idles properly.

Is this possibly the IAC or do I still have a leak somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

When warmed-up, my gauge is showing 18-19 in.Hg which is higher than before I sealed all the tubes.

I'm guessing that the adaptive strategy learned something when you had the vacuum leak, that is now causing the car to stall. To clear the adaptive, unhook the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes, then reconnect and try starting the car.

The Cam sensor in the pre models has a seek time period and sometimes would do just what you are stating until fiding the proper cam location.

I believe you are right. I asked about the CAI too, believing it may be loose.
