supercharger stopped turning

Today I had no boost all of a sudden, went home popped the hood. The supercharger is not turning at all. if you rev the engine it will spin a half a turn or so but no more then that. I found a belt that was snapped laying on top of the motor. it is a skinny v-belt that I dont know where it came from. is the super charger toast or does this little belt have something to do with this? is it ok to drive like that or no? I dont want to do any damage by driving it if I shouldn't.

1990 35th / 5spd 162,xxx miles all original.

Thanks for any help

Am I missing a belt?

Looks like your front jackshaft belt that runs from the crank pulley to the double pulley on the passenger side broke. the rear belt on the jackshaft pulley runs to the supercharger pulley and is still there. It's OK to drive it but it'll be a pig.

Make sure your jackshaft bearing is still spinning freely. Those are known to seize up. Might be why the belt failed in the first place.

You can buy the belt at any auto part store. Finding another accessory bracket is a different story.
