Sunroof Part?

I opened the sunroof on my 89 SC and found this bracket (see pic) laying inside. I have looked through all my data and can't find this listed on any of the sunroof parts. Anyone have an idea or know where it belongs?

I just pulled a whole sunroof mech out of a car and it has nothing like that on it.

Thats one of the springs that raises the deflector piece wheneer you open the MR. Most all have either broken or are so weak by now that they no longer work. You don't really need the deflector, so you could just remove it and get rid of an unwanted rattle while you're at it.
